On your call with our setup team, you’ll be able to choose a call forwarding method that works for your business.
These protocols ensure that every call that comes through is answered by a live person, whether it’s one of our receptionists or you yourself. You can change your call forwarding method at any time.

If you choose this option, you will be able to manually forward and unforward your calls to Answering Plumbing’s virtual receptionist team. You can decide at any time whether you would like to handle your own calls or send them directly to our service.
This is the simplest call forwarding option we offer, and is often the best method for many plumbers.
Rollover Call Forwarding
- We can pick up after a certain number of rings
- Our receptionists will take calls only when a line isn’t available
- Calls will be forwarded to our team when your cell phone is without service
Time of day call forwarding
Simple and effective. You tell us which hours of the day you’d like to handle calls yourself—for example, standard business hours— and we’ll handle the rest of the day.
You’ll have the opportunity to speak to all of your customers throughout the day while never missing a new lead overnight or on the weekends.
Full time call forwarding
Sometimes you just need to focus on the job, and we’re here to help. With full time call forwarding, our receptionists will answer every single one of your calls as soon as they come in.
This option is great for both busy weeks and when you’re on vacation.

You’ll never have to worry about how our receptionists are greeting your customers. One of the first things you’ll do when setting up your Answering Plumbing account is establish a custom greeting that makes our receptionists an extension of your company.

How long will it take to set up my free trial?
We’ll set up your free trial very quickly. After a half-hour call with our white glove setup team, we’ll get to work establishing your account. Soon after that call, your phones will have 24/7 coverage.
What happens at the end of my free trial?
At the end of your free trial, a member of our team will reach out to you and review the results of your trial period. If you’d like to keep using our service, we’ll get you started right away. If you decide the service is not for you, you can walk away, no strings attached.
